Hi, Im Simon, and as well as being an astrophotographer, Iam also a content creator on YouTube, or a least I try to be! I like going out to different locations with my portable gear and meeting up with other astrophotographers. I would like to introduce you to some of my fellow astro nerds, that Ive had the pleasure of meeting,  and going out on location with!

Meet Glenn from the Astrobloke channel,  link  to  Glenn's  channel is               I first got to know Glenn, when I saw one of his video's on his channel, when he was visiting a residence he has in Suffolk near where I lived. I recognised the video footage, and thought I know that place! So I commented on his video, and sure enough, it was only a few miles down the road. So we arranged to meet up next time Glenn visited Suffolk. And the rest is history! Since then Glenn has moved permanantly down this way and we've met up on numerious occasions and have become really good friends. We enjoy going out on location with our astro gear, or even just the DSLR's, either way, its always a great night!  Glenns knowledge in astrophotography is exceptional, and he also has a NASA APOD under his belt, quite the acheivement!

Meet Paul from Nightscape Journals,   link   to  Paul's   channel is            Paul has a history in deep space astrophotography, but has decided to concentrate on his love for nightscape adventures with his DSLR's. He has taken some fantastic images, and its well worth a visit to Pauls channel.  Myself, Glenn and Bob have meet up with Paul a couple of times on nightscape adventures, and you can see these on my YouTube channel. Paul has had his work displayed at the Astronomy photographer of the year exibition  in Greenwich London.  If you want to know why Paul has imaged in the dead of night out on location, in his underwaer, then you'll need to check out his channel. Just dont mention the battle one of his cameras had with the north sea, and lost!

Say hi to Darrell. Darrell has had a few astro channels in the past, and is working on a new one now called Liberty Astro, however, Darrell's main channel is Military Aviation Channel, link         If you're interested in military aviation, in particular, fast jets doing crazy things, then deffinately check out his channel. Darrell is also very knowledgeable in all types of astrophotography and he writes his own software scripts among other things! We've met up with him on a few nights and admired his amazing video cameras that can basically see in the dark! Again, you can find these adventures on my channel. A nice guy who has helped me a lot on my YouTube channel, so deffinately check him out.

Meet Bob. Bob has been into astrophotography since 2020. He is now joining the obsey club! Currently building his own observatory, he'll soon be able to enjoy the benefits of just pressing a button and letting Nina take care of everything! Bob has been out on location with us a couple of times, and we always have a great time.  You can see Bob's images on his facebook page, Bob's Cosmos              He has some great images and is well worth a visit. Bob, like all of us, is a member of the UK Cloud Magnets, and its become a tradition that we all meet up at the Practical Astronomy Show (PAS) usually the night before for a drink or two, then onto the show the next day.

I am also a member of the UK Cloud Magnets facebook group, (as well as many other groups).  There is a link to the UK Cloud Magnets group website               I love the interaction with other astrophotographers on my social media platforms, and I always reply to any comments. If anyone has any ideas of a video they would like me to make, then please contact me with any suggestions and I'll do my best! My aim is to continue to create content for my YouTube channel and to persue perfection with my astro images, I know I'll never think they will be perfect, but one can hope! There's always plenty to learn in this hobby, and there are always plenty of people willing to help. I've learnt a lot since I started my journey in 2020, and I'm always happy to share what I can in the hope it will help others on their journey!

Here on my blog page, you can subscribe to my YouTube channel, become a member and Buy Me a Coffee if you wish. I love my coffee, and it will be very much appreciated.

I have been lucky enough to review some nice equipment from Altair Astro. I'm not affiliated with them in any way, and I'm free to say what I like about their equipment. So far, everything I've seen has been of excellent quality and above expectations, and I'm happy to recommend the products that I've reviewed.  Here are some links to the gear I've Reviewed.
